Blasting Update, Wednesday, April 25

Notice to Kendal Residents and Neighbors
Blasting Update
Wednesday, April 25th

In the process of developing the water management system, it has become necessary to remove rock by blasting.  The blasting will be occurring on the northwest area of our campus in the area abutting Confederate Cove.  The blasting may begin as early as Friday, April 27th at this location.  Weather permitting, blasting may occur periodically throughout the next week.  Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

Just before the contractor conducts the blast, a siren will be sounded.  There will be three (3) short 20 second blows before each blast.  When the blast is completed, one long horn will be sounded as the all clear signal after which normal work will resume.

Please be reminded that fences currently demark the work site.  “No Trespassing” signs have also been posted.  For your personal safety and wellbeing, please do not enter the work areas without permission and appropriate safety equipment.

Kendal regrets this inconvenience and thanks you in advance for your patience.  If you have any particular questions or concerns, please contact Julia Skare, Kendal’s owner’s representative at juliaskare@gmail.com or 434-390-8956.
